1/4" seams

I found out last night just how important it is to have accurate seams! I'm gonna have to rip out the whole thing and try again... nothing was matchin up!!!

Playin' Catch-up

Well, I am trying to play catch-up. Trying to catch up with that quilt-a-long. I am doing pretty good so far, but not caught up to Amandajean yet. I have completed one of the setting blocks, and star blocks 1-4. I have done all of them by hand so far! WHEW! I've been having to carry them along with me and work in the idle times on the job... SHHHH don't tell anybody!

I am using scraps from my daughter's nursery stuff that I made almost 6 years ago. I am making this quilt for her "Big-Girl-Bed". She is growing like a weed. I look forward to having pics on soon. Feel free to leave comments, etc. I'd love to hear from you all.

Quilt-a-long

I've joined in with a quilt-a-long blogg! I am so excited about it. I learned a little about quilting from my Grandma growing up. I just haven't used it since. I recently was introduced to crazymomquilts.blogspot.com and I like it a lot! Thanks for all your effort Amandajean!
